Wild Vitality Homestead is offering a limited number of CSA shares for the 2013 season. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and offers you, the customer, a valuable opportunity to help support a small farmer. A few partial work-trade opportunities are available. By joining a CSA, you help provide income for your farmer before the growing season starts, during the time when farmers need your support the most. This money is used to help with operating expenses, paying for things like seeds, supplies, animal feed and insurance premiums.
The basic CSA share for the 2013 season is a weekly veggie share, with the opportunity to add-on egg shares and meats ala cart. Veggies are cultivated without chemicals, and chickens are either free-ranged or in a chicken tractor.
